In chapter one of the book of Colossians, we read the Apostle Paul’s prayer for the church. He prays that they “may be filled with the knowledge of His will,” and with “all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” He goes on to pray that they would be “fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” I’m sure that if he knew you or me, his prayer would be the same for us.
As Christians we say we believe God’s Word contains the answers to life. At some point we must move from simple understanding to action. Once we know the truth, how do we apply it to our life? What difference should it make in the way we live?
